DEVELOPING STORM BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A developing tropical storm has developed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is at this moment located about 250 miles southeast of Mexico's California. Meteorologists are predicting that Barbara will intensify over the next few days. The storm is heading northwestward at a rate of 10 mph.
